>2023-2024 Institutional Project: “Digital Transformation in Córdoba's Industrial Enterprises.”
Currently, the School of Economic Sciences is undertaking this Institutional Project (IP) "Digital Transformation in Córdoba's Industrial Enterprises," aimed at analyzing the current level of digitalization, its driving factors, and the barriers to digitalization in industrial enterprises in the city of Córdoba.
The specific objectives of this IP are the following:
- To identify whether industrial companies in Córdoba have adopted, are planning to adopt, or intend to incorporate basic and/or advanced digital technologies into their production processes and functional areas.
- To recognize the main driving factors and barriers to digitalization faced by industrial enterprises in Córdoba.
- To examine the relationship between the types of technologies adopted or in the process of being adopted and the specific drivers and barriers that these industrial companies encounter.
- To analyze whether sectoral, environmental, and company size factors influence the level of adoption of digital technologies and the types of drivers or obstacles to digitalization identified.
This project receives institutional support and funding as part of the 2023 call for "Institutional Projects for Research, Technological Development, and Regional Artistic Interest," organized by the Office of Science and Technology of the National University of Córdoba, with funds transferred to national universities by the Office of University Policies (SPU) of the Argentine Ministry of Education.

>2022-2023 Institutional Project: "Program for Monitoring the Economic Activity in Córdoba City"
In 2022, the Institutional Project “Program for Monitoring Economic Activity in Córdoba City” was launched, focusing on a survey of industrial companies in the city of Córdoba. This survey aimed to gather primary data to identify structural changes in organizational activities and work processes following the COVID-19 pandemic, along with related employment impacts.
The survey's main goal was to shed light on the challenges and issues that companies face in the short and medium term, providing insights to support the development of effective public policies. Respondents were encouraged to be individuals within a company—such as owners, partners, general managers, or human resources managers—who were familiar with workforce dynamics, depending on the firm’s size and structure.
All individual responses were protected by statistical confidentiality, following the Argentine National Laws 17.622 and 25.326 on personal data protection. Only processed and aggregated information from the various survey areas will be published.
This project received institutional support and funding through the "Institutional Projects for Research, Technological Development, and Regional Artistic Interest" call, organized by the Office of Science and Technology of the National University of Córdoba. Funding was provided by the Office of University Policies (SPU) of the Argentine Ministry of Education.
